It's so worth it to visit this building - such a beautiful piece of architectural history that has been immaculately maintained. There are free tours of the building on Sundays. The tour guide Lori is very knowledgable and friendly. Highly recommend!
Feb 18, 2022 · Designed by Michigan architects, constructed by Michigan contractors, and embellished by Michigan artisans, the Guardian building as a whole is a great tribute to not only the strength and resilience of Detroit, but to the entire state of Michigan. If you have yet to visit a Pure Detroit store, I highly recommend a trip.

Pure Detroit offer free tours of the Guardian and Fisher buildings. Both buildings are amazingly beautiful. Michael the tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about architecture and Detroit. The tours last about 45 - 60 minutes and are on Saturday's only.
