    • by Keith (new) Feb 14, 2012 01:27PM. Google Books shows no sources prior to about 2005, and the most common attribution is "Unknown" so I have added it to Anonymous with a misattributed tag.

  3. Mar 3, 2014 · Looking at this discussion online it appears that it is regularly attributed to Hilary Cooper or George Carlin. But just because someone said something, doesn’t mean it originated with them. Another source claims that this was a quote written for a greeting card put out by the Carleton Card company in the mid 1970s.

When I observe my two-year-old daughter, it happened to her several times a day that she is so astonished, surprised and happy that she shouts it out loud because otherwise she hardly can breathe in that wonderful moment.
