Canine enteric coronavirus (CECoV) is a viral infection that occurs in dogs globally. This coronavirus is not the virus that causes COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2), the predominately human respiratory disease. Clinical disease is uncommon in dogs with CECoV. When occurring, disease is often mild and involves self-limiting diarrhea.
