About Jan. I am honored to have been chosen by my fellow councillors to serve as Vice Mayor during the 2018-19 term. The only non-incumbent elected as one of the 9 at-large city councillors in November 2015, I was re-elected to a second term in 2017, finishing 4th in a competitive field of 26 candidates all vying for one of the 9 at-large seats.

Jan Devereux is not running for re-election in 2019. She has lived in Cambridge since 1993, and co-founded the Fresh Pond Residents Alliance in 2014. A graduate of Princeton and Columbia, she's also served on the board of the Princeton Association of New England.
