I was particularly interested in their Steve Thomas collection, which has an America-esque 1930's feel, portraying the emotion and landscapes of California's Central Coast.

Apr 18, 2024 · OLD SAN LUIS One of Just Looking Gallery's new artists, John Hanley, created a series of five paintings highlighting SLO County between the 1940s to the 1980s. Hanley uses an oil-wash technique on Masonite to get a dreamlike effect for his paintings.
Just Looking Gallery is a premier gallery in the Mission Mall in downtown SLO, featuring a range of artists. It opened in 1984 and is part of the Sustainable SLO tourism program that plants trees around town.
