Jul 2, 2009 · July 2, 2009 -- "Kung Fu" actor David Carradine died from asphyxiation, according to New York-based medical examiner Dr. Michael Baden, who was hired by the family to do a private autopsy on the actor. Baden, the host of HBO's "Autopsy" series, ruled out suicide because of the way the actor's body was bound.
