Kensington Metropark is the place we spend a lot time year round. You can do cross country skiing, and enjoying water sports in summer. The fall color here is so breathtaking.
Kensington was the cleanest, plenty for kids to do, well maintained grass and beach; nice water slide and play area as well as the lake. Concessions were open and reasonably priced. Admission to slide/water feature only $7 (and metro park pass) compared to other parks at 20 each.
