Together with the Marin County Office of Emergency Services, the American Red Cross and other key agencies, Marin Humane provides food, shelter, medication, and transportation for those families who need help with their pets in the event of an emergency.
Worried about a neglected animal? We can help. Our Animal Services Officers and Customer Service team provide animal services for the county of Marin 24/7. If you need to surrender your animal, we encourage you to do so during business hours so we can best help you and your animal.

Come visit our Novato Campus Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. Kitty Corner in San Anselmo is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. The Thrift Shop is open Monday through Saturday 11 am to 4 pm. Hopalong Office in Oakland: by appointment only.
A dog license is required by law for all dogs over the age of four months who live in Marin County. For more information about licensing your dog, updating your record, address changes, or notification of deceased pets, call 415.506.6220.
