Marsh Terrell McCall, ’86, died of natural causes at age 52 at his home in Studio City, Calif., on May 21. He was born in Boston and grew up on campus at Stanford, where his eponymous father was a classics professor.
Orringer began teaching early on, first in graduate school and now at Stanford, where she is currently the Marsh McCall lecturer and creative writing curriculum coordinator.
