Max von Sydow (/ f ɒ n ˈ s iː d oʊ /, Swedish: [fɔn ˈsy̌ːdɔv] ⓘ; born Carl Adolf von Sydow; 10 April 1929 – 8 March 2020) was a Swedish-French actor.
