That is why I don't feel comfortable to see them wearing open sandals footwear. To me it doesn't look the right footwear for a modest Muslimah.
So, according to the first opinion, it is not permissible for a woman to wear sandals or shoes that will expose her feet, but it is permissible for her to do so according to the second opinion. We think, it is better for a woman to cover her feet if she can, but if not, she may uncover her feet.
