According to her CW profile, Lazo is out and proud. It remains to be seen if her romantic situation is going to play a big role in her My Last Daysepisode, although there's clearly love in her life.

What I found was horrific. People were actually angry and calling her a fraud because she didn’t die after being diagnosed as terminal.
