The Oneonta Gorge is a scenic hiking destination and botanical area in the Columbia River Gorge area on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon. Be prepared to navigate through logs, climb through rocks and wade in cold water as users follow along Oneonta Creek through the gorge.
Oneonta Trailhead is the gateway to popular day hikes as well as rigorous backpacking routes up Larch Mountain and into the Mark O. Hatfield Wilderness. Parking at the trailhead is a simple pullout with about 8 spaces and a kiosk.

Upper is accessed via going deeper into the gorge to see triple falls. Would recommend going to triple falls as it doesn’t add a terrible amount of distance and the elevation is pretty easy. When you come back from triple falls, continue the loop back to the oneonta trailhead.
