Cadence. (film) Cadence is a 1990 American historical prison film directed by Martin Sheen, in which Charlie Sheen plays an inmate in a United States Army military prison in West Germany during the 1960s. Sheen plays alongside his father Martin Sheen and brother Ramon Estevez. The film is based on a novel by Gordon Weaver .
This Is Now (1985) and Cadence (1990). In Cadence, he played a sycophantic "spineless corporal" to the stockade's commanding officer. Estevez was disguised in Cadence as a funny guard who wore glasses and "his hat most of the time" to prevent being recognized as Charlie Sheen's brother. In 1992, Estevez appeared in The
Synopsis. As punishment for drunken, rebellious behavior, a young white soldier is thrown into a stockade populated entirely by black inmates. But instead of falling victim to racial hatred, the soldier joins forces with his fellow prisoners and rises up against the insanely tyrannical and bigoted prison warden.

Since Cadence (1990), however, Ramon has only taken a handful of roles, such as Shadow Conspiracy (1997) with brother Charlie and Donald Sutherland, and a guest appearance with Martin and Rob Lowe on The West Wing (1999). Ramon runs the production company Estevez Sheen Productions for his father Martin.
