Clapton wrote the song in honor of his four year old son, Conor, who had died tragically on March 20th, 1991 when he fell to his death from the 53rd-floor window of a New York City apartment building. Overall, Clapton contributed ten songs to the films soundtrack. The films first DVD release was on December 3rd, 2002.

Some really great scenes involved James confronting the reporter who was being stupid and asked Niki how his marriage can last after the accident, and when Niki slowed down and exited the race since he didn't want to lose his wife. The final race in Japan is absolutely magnificent, so visceral and intense yet thrilling.
