When it comes to anime studios, everybody has their favorite, but not many fans would pick Studio DEEN as a favorite.

  2. The Studio Deen version is justifiably disliked because it is not a faithful adaptation of Fate. It mixes routes and plots that make the story in the anime messier than it needs to be. There are plenty of things to nitpick. In regards to animation, it isn't particularly subpar compared to its contemporaries.

  6. The former has a good story but terrible animation (albeit in this case the bad animation has its charm) while the latter has acceptable animation but was ruined storywise. They also had a reputation of adapting whatever they got their hands on for the lowest budgets possible hence their lesser quality back then.
