Nov 1, 2023 · This switch allows you to remove the Fat-Cap to get closer to a ‘true’, stock vintage amp. Mid-Boost Switch: Dial in the perfect amount of midrange punch to cut through the mix. The Mid-Boost give a bit more gain to the phase inverter and a subtle lift to the tonestack, boosting the gain to the mid range. Most usefull when dimeing the controls.

And, since you asked for other suggestions, I would consider the Morris GCM 008. I prefer that one to all of the ones mentioned above. B.

Jul 11, 2023 · That is a Lead 35 in my pic . I used to have a Lead 55LV. A buddy of mine has a Lead 55LV now and we have done side by side comparisons of all three. The Germino has a more raucous mid thing going on. The master on the Suhr seems to work better if you need really low volume. The Suhr does lean a little more Brown Sound.
Mar 26, 2024 · Total opposite in Europe. The Suhr SL67 MKII is 3999€ incl 24% VAT, or $4342. That's very expensive for such a simple amp but crossing the pond tends to do that. A Marshall 1959 handwired is 1949€ or $2116 so half the cost. A boutique clone to your preference would be probably in the 2000-2500€ range.
