The Tamagotchi can get different traits based on how it's cared for, which will affect their evolution. There are three traits: Gourmet, Social and Active. To get Gourmet trait, eat 15 times during the Teen Stage; to get the Social trait, connect 10 times during the Teen Stage; to get the Active trait, play 10 games during the Teen Stage. Interestingly, there are only female Tamagotchi adults associated with the "No trait" group, and male teens instead evolve randomly if they don't have a trait.
