The Teachers' Retirement System manages the retirement fund for public school educators, University System of Georgia employees, and others in educational work environments. It provides the resources both retirees and currently working educators need to best plan for the future.
Beneficiary Information – Retirees. As a retiree, there are very limited instances where you can change your beneficiary. Should your beneficiary predecease you, you can make new beneficiary designations according to the provisions of the retirement plan under which you retired.
