Chuck Nolan, a top international manager for FedEx, and Kelly, a Ph.D. student, are in love and heading towards marriage. Then Chuck's plane to Malaysia crashes at sea during a terrible storm. Before joining the cast of Days of our Lives, Valerie wrapped a role in Castaway, starring Tom Hanks. At the end of her Peace Corps tenure, Valerie wanted to expand her theatrical efforts to make a difference by developing film and television projects that "uplifted the human spirit."
