May 4, 2023 · The museum showcases the history of the Tularosa Basin, the Army's role in New Mexico, and the technological and military achievements at WSMR. The new museum features 15 exhibits, 145 artifacts, and high-quality graphics and images.
Patrons can view displays about the atomic age, space activity, America’s Missile origin, prehistoric cultures and the Old West of Southern New Mexico. The museum is open weekdays from 8 am to 4 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 3 pm (closed Sundays and holidays). Admission is free.
