Haas Formula LLC, competing as MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, is an American-licensed Formula One racing team established by NASCAR Cup Series team co-owner Gene Haas in April 2014. The team originally intended to make its debut at the start of the 2015 season but later elected to postpone their entry until the 2016 season.
The youngest team on the grid, Haas made their highly impressive debut in 2016, and in the process became the first all-American-led F1 squad in three decades.
Jan 25, 2023 · Kevin Magnussen made a shock return to Formula 1 with Haas in 2022, the Danish driver having raced for the team from 2017-2020 with a best drivers' championship finish of ninth in 2018. He was dropped for 2021, but then made a late surprise comeback just before the beginning of last season.

Mar 22, 2024 · Haas F1 Team hire Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg as their two full-time Formula 1 race drivers. Magnussen returned to the American squad ahead of the 2022 Bahrain GP to replace Nikita Mazepin. Haas had axed Magnussen after his initial spell from 2017 to 2020.
