    Bernie Sanders won the Idaho Democratic caucuses with 78 percent of the vote. Twenty-three delegates were up for grabs. They were allocated proportionally. Donald Trump came in second, followed by Marco Rubio and John Kasichin third and fourth place. Polling, which was scare leading up to March 8, showed Cruz trailing Trump by eleven points. Cruz carried Idaho's four most populous counties, including Ada County. Three other states also held primaries or caucuses on March 8: Hawaii, Michigan and Mississippi.
