Agnes (1297-1334), heiress of the Altmark, married Waldemar, Margrave of Brandenburg (1281-1381). In 1319, she married her second husband, Duke Otto of Brunswick-Lüneburg , Prince of Göttingen (1290-1344).
Agnes received a seat at Altmark; Jutta received a seat at Coburg. John's childless death left the main core of Salzwedel to be reunited by his regent Valdemar.
Agnes of Brandenburg (1297–1334), heiress of the Altmark, married with margrave Waldemar of Brandenburg (1281–1381) and in 1319 to Duke Otto of Brunswick-Göttingen (1290–1344). In 1308, Herman died, and their son John succeeded him.
