Mar 16, 2019 · Biography. Agnes von Sachsen was the daughter of Heinrich von Sachsen, Count Palatine of the Rhine (Pfalzgraf bei Rhein) and his first wife Agnes von Staufen [1] . She married Otto von Bayern at Worms in May 1222. He succeeded his father as Otto II, Duke of Bavaria in 1231. They had issue:
