In Bangkok, Thailand, the blind housewife Gina Lloyd is happily married with her husband, the insurance manager James, and they are trying to have a baby. Gina was blinded in a car crash when her sister Carla and she were girls and her parents died in the accident.
Gina (Blake Lively) and husband James (Jason Clarke) have an almost perfect marriage. After being blinded as a child in a nearly fatal car crash that claimed her parent's lives, Gina depends on James to be her eyes-a dependence that appears to solidify their passionate relationship.
