Veronique is a Yellowstone character played by Allison Dunbar. She is a saleswoman and old acquaintance of Beth Dutton.
When Monica comes to her shop, looking for some clothes for her job at the local college, Veronique mistakes her for a college student and then, when Monica understands she's not welcomed there and tries to leave, she accuses her of shoplifting even though she knows it's not true. She detains her and calls the police, and when the two police officers can't find anything in Monica's purse, apart from the proof that, at 26 years old, Monica is not a student, but a university professor indeed, Veronique sneakily hides a ring from her own stand and accuses Monica of stealing it. Since Monica refuses to go to the Police Station, she is brought into the changing room and forced to strip to be searched, much to Veronique's delight, but then arrives Beth Dutton, called by Monica who is revealed to be her sister-in-law, much to everyone astonishment. After chastising the two officers for an illegal search, as Monica was clearly forced to comply, she makes them leave and then takes care o Veronique, which sensing the impending trouble, makes her employees leave as well. With the three of them alone, Beth begins to vandalize the store, breaking and smashing the glass stands, recounting how much the saleswoman sold herself, in her youth, to become beautiful enough to marry a doctor, that Beth calls an idiot. To further punish her, Beth forces her to strip right there, in front of them, much to her shame, to the point that she begins to cry. She shames her for wearing spanx, commenting on how small and flat her bottom was in high school and asking what happened? Then, to the fright of Veronique, she moves closer to pull her spanx open, taking a peak at her privates, and telling everyone that she is not a "real blonde." Still crying, she is totally embarrassed as she is powerless as Beth stares down her spanx at her dark pubic hair, and before Beth can go any further, Monica stops her, as what's happening won't cancel what Veronique did. So she asks the latter to apologize and, when she does it, the two leave.
Later, at a bar, Beth claims that Veronique hasn't done what she did to Monica out of racism, but for pure envy on seeing her, beautiful both on the outside and the inside, and so tried to get back at her by humiliating her. But now she'll never forget how Monica not only refused to do the same to her, but even forgave her.
