Otherwise, this is one of Ralph Bakshi’s best films. The majority of the film’s animation was done through rotoscoping, a technique in which animation is traced over live action footage.

Mar 1, 2021 · Vern: You’re right that it’s absurd for the film to imply that all of American music was leading up to “Night Moves.” Obviously it was all leading to “Hollywood Nights.”
I personally love the two different aspects for their brash and bold respective demeanors, but upon viewing "American Pop", it is… Review by ChristopherDay ★★★ 1 If this film taught me anything, it's that Bob Seger's 'Night Moves' is the pinnacle of human achievement.
