The roots of the University lie in the learning and experience of the Foundation. The Foundation established the University for an explicit and clear social purpose, as a part of a larger strategy to contribute to the Education and Development sectors in the country.
Central to realising our vision is to see our students engaged with the social sector after they graduate. The Placement Cell at the University constantly thrives and acts as a platform to assist the students to find the ideal place of work to contribute to building a better society.
More than 3,700 of our graduates have gone on to find the work that they do meaningful and impactful. About 90% of the students work in the social sector and 80% of our alumninow work in disadvantaged parts of India at the grassroots.
