On Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds an approval rating of 40% based on 107 reviews, with an average rating of 5.04/10. The website's critical consensus reads, " Beerfest features some laugh-inducing gags, but is too long and the pacing too uneven to form a coherent, functioning comedy." [9]
