Blickling Estate. Blickling Hall is a Jacobean stately home situated in 5,000 acres of parkland in a loop of the River Bure, near the village of Blickling north of Aylsham in Norfolk, England. The mansion was built on the ruins of a Tudor building for Sir Henry Hobart from 1616 and designed by Robert Lyminge.

Blickling house and gardens are quite stunning. Every room in the Jacobean house has the most opulent and beautiful furniture and paintings; a number of members of the Tudors. The grounds are very extensive and well worth walking round. There is also a pub adjacent to the property that is well worth stopping in if you want a nice pub lunch.

Jul 12, 2022 · Entry is £14 for an adult, £7 for a child, £35 for a family and £21 for a family with one adult. The gardens, the shop and both café's are open every day from 10am to 5pm and the last entry to the gardens is 30 minutes before closing. Entry is free for National Trust members. The parkland is open from dawn to dusk daily.
