‘Deepdale’, which means ‘Deep valley’, was added to distinguish it from the other Burnhams in Norfolk. Burnham Deepdale is located about 1 1/2 miles (3 km) West of Burnham Market, 22 miles (35 km) North East of the town of King’s Lynn and 31 miles (50 km) North West of the city of Norwich.[1]
