  5. I know that the Clearwater speakers have been out for a long time now and they’re the only plug and play aftermarket speakers designed specifically for the Miata that I’m aware of. They’re $200 bucks on Moss Miata and when there are other cheaper speakers going for half that, I’m not sure if I should shell out for the Clearwater.

The CW "short" HR speaker wiring harness does not correctly wire to the post-96.5 Mazda Miata standard radio.

  7. Mar 8, 2010 · The clearwaters did come with rain shields, the same half circle type that the OEM Bose speakers have but clear. The manual states that there are extra clips for the door panel but there were not. Four of them broke. I have some coming from an online Mazda dealer. I ordered ten but probably should have ordered a few more.
