A funeral service for legendary football coach, John Clark, 89, is scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Plano, TX. Coach Clark will be laid to rest at a graveside service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Jacksonville City Cemetery.

The Plano ISD family is deeply saddened by the passing of Coach John Clark. Coach Clark led the Plano Senior High Wildcats football program to two state championships as the Head Coach in 1967 and 1971. He also won a state title as Assistant Head Coach in 1965.
