Jul 10, 2017 · Damon and Sonya Bamberg returned to court Monday after a Jeff Davis County jury convicted them in the murder of Damon's wife Allison. The pair hired new attorneys and requested the new trial because transcripts from the first day of the 2009 trial were lost. Prosecutors say witnesses could be interviewed without calling for a new trial.
