Around 1163, Casimir married with Helen (ca. 1140/42 – ca. 1202/06), daughter of Duke Conrad II of Znojmo, scion of a Moravian cadet branch of the Premyslid dynasty. They had seven children: Maria (1164–1194), married in November 1178 to Prince Vsevolod IV of Kiev.
