The World Imagery map can now support imagery down to L23, which would potentially support imagery down to 2 cm or 1 in. per pixel. The World Imagery map has already been updated to include very high resolution imagery for several dozen communities, down to L20 (15 cm or 6 in. resolution) or L21 (7.5 cm or 3 in. resolution).
In addition to commercial sources, the World Imagery map features high-resolution aerial photography contributed by the GIS User Community. This imagery ranges from 0.3-meter to 0.03-meter resolution, down to ~1:280 in select communities.

Jun 4, 2020 · The GIS community, including various mapping agencies around the world, enhances the ArcGIS World Imagery map by contributing recent, high-resolution aerial imagery through the ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World Community Maps Program. While the spatial resolution of contributions varies, the average across all Community contributions is under 15 cm.
