I am the oldest grandson of the late Don Hastings one of the founding members of the American Bladesmith Society, and I recently acquired several of his knives at an antique shop in Palestine, TX. Last week I was given his personal collection of knives and memorabilia passed down from my grandmother to my aunt and now me.
