  3. Don MacKinnon, President Don was born in Juneau and grew up in Hoonah and Cordova before returning to Juneau as a teenager. A graduate of Juneau Douglas High School he also has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

  4. I met Don over 50 years ago when he was Superintendent at Hoonah, and I was Commissioner of Education. Don had earned a positive reputation as an effective administrator for his hard work, honesty, and for understanding and respecting the local culture and lifestyle of the people he served.
