Donald Barr Chidsey (May 14, 1902 – March 17, 1981) was an American writer, biographer, historian, novelist and writer of adventure fiction.
Donald Barr Chidsey published steadily in the better-paying pulps for over a decade. His stories had many covers, and his total pulp output was prodigious although his major interest was the writing of books, especially non-fiction. A sturdy oak of a man, Chidsey lived in Lyme, Conn., in 1976.
