The Enchanted Forest is a seasonal (closed from October to spring break) theme park located in Turner, Oregon, on a small patch of hilly wooded land next to Interstate 5, just south of Salem, Oregon. The park was created and hand built by Roger Tofte over a period of seven years in the late 1960s.

Feb 25, 2021 · Today Enchanted Forest includes a Western town and an English village; a log ride with a 40-foot drop; and a water-light show. From the very beginning, Enchanted Forest was a family affair — meant for families and run by an Oregon family — which is a tradition that continues today.
Noticing that the Salem, Oregon area had little to offer in “family entertainment,” Tofte purchased a swath of land just off of Interstate 5 and single-handedly began creating a series of quaint, fairytale-based attractions. The Enchanted Forest opened its doors on August 8, 1971, and has drawn tourists and families for over 40 years.
