Flavio Manzoni (born 7 January 1965 in Nuoro, Sardinia) is an Italian architect and automobile designer. He has been the Chief Design Officer at Ferrari since January 2010 and has led the creation of many Ferrari models, including the Ferrari F12berlinetta in collaboration with Pininfarina; the LaFerrari, the brand's first ever hybrid vehicle.
The collaboration with the Gran Turismo video game series represented a concrete possibility to bring to life a project developed within the Advanced Design area of our Style Centre, with the aim of prefiguring the Ferrari Super Car of the future.
The first project Manzoni worked on in Maranello was the FF, and in the years since he’s overseen the design of numerous other models, ranging from the LaFerrari and FXX K to the 812 Superfast, 296 GTB, and, most recently, the 12Cilindri. We spoke with the 59-year-old Manzoni in his offices at the Ferrari factory in Maranello.

Between 2015 and 2019, the models designed by Flavio Manzoni and the Ferrari Design Team have won a total of 14 distinctions in the Red Dot Award: Product Design. The jury even bestowed the highest distinction in the competition, the Red Dot: Best of the Best, on the designers five times in a row.
