Welcome to the Henry B. Plant Museum. The Henry B. Plant Museum is housed in the former Tampa Bay Hotel, which was a Victorian railroad resort that operated from 1891 - 1932. Since 1933, the Tampa Bay Hotel has been home to the Henry B. Plant Museum and the University of Tampa. The building, renamed Plant Hall, is a National Historic Landmark.
Henry B. Plant Museum is located at 401 W. Kennedy Boulevard, Tampa, Fl 33606. For general information, please call (813) 254-1891 or visit the museum website at www.plantmuseum.com . The museum is open Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. University of Tampa students, faculty and staff can visit for free with UT ID.

Plant Museum is housed in the 1891 Tampa Bay Hotel, the Victorian railroad resort that defined the elegant frontier, now a National Historic Landmark. Unlike most museums dedicated to lifestyles of the past, it contains the actual furnishings enjoyed by the first guests to visit here.
