Nov 17, 2020 · I am just attempting to dial in the basic setting on the DSP plate amps for my la scala, the first section asks for the impedeance and the maximum power handling of each driver. I am ok with the impedance but what is the max power handling of the K33E, K55V and the K77M?
May 2, 2014 · You don't need much power and a low power tube amp is, I think, the best solution. The only time I've ever heard Klipsch speakers sound good to me is with tubes. A friend has La Scala's and they sound pretty good with 10-20 watt tubes amps.

Oct 26, 2019 · I have read many opinions on the klipschorn, la scala, jubilee, belle, voltis. Even some jbl builds, m2, 4350. I plan on running an active eq/crossover, and an active powered t-line sub. It seems a 2 way sytem is very popular (1 horn 1 bass bin), I will go 3 if you guys suggest.
May 28, 2010 · They require 1/8 the power of a 95 dB speaker; or more simply stated La Scalas on 15 watts are like the 95 dB on 120 watts... Mine sounded great on my 5 watt EL84 6BQ5 amp for years. An HK 430 is also revered over on the Klipsch boards as a nice receiver.
