My own journey has been one of exploration and growth. As a child, I lovingly embraced the songs and stories of my people. As an adolescent, I discovered philosophy and rational inquiry. I think a form of humanistic Judaism is probably the direction most liberal Jews are headed. (Meaning a Judaism that focuses on humanistic ethics and spirituality and non-literal, symbolic interpretations of God/Torah; the main difference being in how much traditional liturgy/practice they retain.)
