  2. It's one of the most fun reading experiences I've had in a long time. I'm trying to decide whether I should check out the prequels, Dead Man's Walking and Comanche Moon. But I'm worried that the prequels won't be anywhere near as good as Lonesome Dove and that they'll end up tarnishing my opinion.
