This. People almost always forget to do the rest of the math when calculating take-home pay from Patreon. By the time Patreon (20%), Federal Taxes (20%), California State Taxes (8%), Retirement (~15%) and Healthcare are taken out, that number gets cut way down just like any other paycheck. Like you said, very comfortable, but not multi-millionaire.
There used to be one. Or, at least the concept was there. But I think evidence lines up to prove it just did not exist. 1: Jenny mentions early in the video that Disney is very focused on no one side “losing” a game. Personally, I was expecting something like “we’ve lost this ship, but we still control the galaxy.”.
