John A. Freeman Home. A Gothic Revival home built in 1893, is Snowflake’s favorite “Gingerbread House” and contains original antiques, toys, and textiles from the late 1800s.
Biographical Information. The following is from the Legislative death resolution: Whereas, Hon. John A. Freeman, pioneer Arizonan and a former member of the House of Representatives, died in his home at Snowflake on September 29, 1952, at the age of ninety-two years.
This is a lovely home from the late 1800s...again it may be toured free of charge by contacting the Stinson Museum in Snowflake which is operated by the Snowflake Chamber of Commerce. This home currently houses a small café...but it doesn't interfere with the home tour.
