Jan 11, 2024 · Kotoko, from 2011, is an incredibly extreme film. It is one of the most viscerally alarming films I have seen in a long time — and I watch a lot of weird stuff. This is perhaps to be expected from Shinya Tsukamoto, the filmmaker most famous for Tetsuo the Iron Man, the 1989 cult classic.
