The old version of mapquest is known as the mapquest classic which was the best at that time. The specialty that it has these days were unknown to everyone before. Mapquest classic used to show only the simple map of the world with some feature like getting the directions to towards the place you want to visit.

To use the old Map Quest site for driving directions visit classic.mapquest.com/directions. Once you are at the site enter your locations where it says "Address or Intersection", then fill in the other fields which are city, state, and zip code.
